Former goalkeeper Robert Kidiaba Muteba elected MLA!

The former guardian of DR Congo and TP Mazembe, Robert Kidiaba Muteba was elected MPP in the constituency of Lubumbashi, the city where he grew up and played football with the Almighty Mazembe.
The announcement was made on Thursday when the provisional results of the provincial elections were released by the Independent National Electoral Commission. With the "Ravens", he has won three times the CAF Champions League (2009, 2010 and 2015) and participated in the World Cup clubs.

Winner three times in the CAF Champions League (2009, 2010 and 2015), Robert Kidiaba Muteba has become a real star in his country thanks to his parades and especially the celebration of the goals of his team by dancing and jumping on the posterior. Named "Guardian of Peace" for the joy he brought to the hearts of all DRC Congolese through his prowess on the ground, Kidiaba has become a true idol.

Taking advantage of his popularity, he decided to contribute to the development of his country through his candidacy for this election which he won.
