Three masked plunderers waving a knife disrupted a child's birthday party when they broke into a house in search of drugs. Norfolk police confirmed Friday that Norfolk police had been called to the Hunter Road site, Catton Grove, to 18h50 (GMT).
Nobody was hurt, but a cell phone was stolen, police said.
The men are described as being black and about 183 cm tall and wearing dark clothes.
"It must have been very painful for those involved and I want to reassure the victims and the people living there that we are doing everything in our power to quickly find the culprits," said Insp. Graham Dalton.
"I believe this is related to Operation Gravity's drug trafficking and would require anyone with information about the individuals involved to contact the police immediately. "
The Gravity operation is a Norwich police campaign, launched in 2016, to fight drug traffickers coming from London.
