Intensified training in France and Poland

France is accelerating the training of Ukrainian soldiers on its own territory as well as in Poland. According to Europe 1, around 2 Ukrainian soldiers have already been trained by the French army, with a target of 000 fighters trained by the end of the year.

A diversified training

The training, which lasted on average one month, includes weapons handling, urban warfare, mine warfare and emergency medicine. Some soldiers learned to use equipment delivered by France, such as Caesar guns and AMX 10 RC tanks.

Training in Poland

In Poland, an entire battalion of 600 Ukrainian soldiers was trained by 200 French soldiers for two months. Another session is underway with a target of 4 fighters trained by the end of the year.
