The story of this young boy leaves no one indifferent.
Treated as a sorcerer and abandoned by his family, little Hope awaited only death. He had to spend months on the streets of Eket in Nigeria and due to the harsh conditions he developed health complications.
However, Hope was restored to life and smiles thanks to a philanthropist. He was taken in by Anja Ringgren Loven in 2016. Anja, the founder of the charity DINNødhjæl, said the boy was in a very bad condition when she came to his rescue.
Here is Lewandowski's big secret to success
In an interview with the British tabloid Mirror, Anja noted that when she met Hope, his chances of survival were minimal due to the multiple illnesses he had contracted.
He was hospitalized for weeks and finally got on his own two feet. Anja has helped many children like Hope through her charity. Since being rescued, Hope has received a good education, healthy diet and care. Today he is beautiful, strong and full of life.
Speaking about the boy's reaction to his old photo, Anja said, “He often points his finger at it and smiles like he's proud. But I know it's not about pride. Children are born with the ability to forgive. Children are born without prejudice. We fail as a society when we teach children what to think and not how to think. "
