Here's why actor Wentworth Miller quit acting in TV series
Hollywood actor Wentworth Miller has revealed that he has quit acting in TV series because he no longer plays characters that place him as a straight man.
The star of "Prison Break" said he was done starring in the popular Fox series as Michael Scofield because he was gay.
It will be recalled that in January, Michael Thorn - the president of Fox Entertainment - had hinted that a new season was on the way after a successful return in 2017.
Miller thanked his fans on Instagram after saying: "I'm outside. From PB. Officially. I just don't want to play straight characters. Their stories have been told (and told). ”
He recognized that the news could be "Disappointing" for the fans and said it was "sorry", but continued: “If you're hot and upset [because] you've fallen in love with a fictional straight man played by a real gay, it's up to you.”
