India: Patel was right, Nehru was wrong over Kashmir: Ravi Shankar Prasad | India News

AHMEDABAD: The Minister of the Union Ravi Shankar Prasad said Wednesday that the first Indian prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru was wrong and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel the prime minister of the country at home, was right to solve the problem of Jammu and Kashmir after independence.
Prasad was speaking after a press conference hosted by the Government of the National Democratic Alliance, which spent 100 days in office after being sworn in for a second consecutive term on May 30.
"Patel was right and Jawaharlal Nehru was wrong," Prasad said.
The minister said that Article 370 which granted a special status to the State of the North, was a "historical mistake" and, by removing this special status, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi showed "immense courage and corrected this historic wrong".
